NAIROBI, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- Kenya head coach Sebastien Migne has warned rivals that he is developing a fine machine that will dominate Africa football for a long period.

Speaking to Xinhua in Nairobi on Monday, Migne said he is impressed by the quick development and the success the team has attained so far.

He singled out the clean sheet the team has maintained in their last four matches against Ghana, Malawi and Ethiopia as a perfect report on the growth Kenya has had.

"We have pulled yet another clean sheet. We are yet to concede a goal in the last four matches and that is important to any coach and it impresses me. We did that against Ghana and also against Malawi and now we have played Ethiopia home and away and our goalkeeper is yet to concede a goal," Migne said.

Kenya is coming up with a strong team to challenge the continent's giants and qualifying for the Africa Nations Cup will be a great bonus in the works.

"The players have shown me that with preparations, we can get a better result and that is good news for Kenya as a country because we are building something interesting for the future," Migne added.

"I am proud and happy the team kept to the plan and the whole unit clicked. We had trained to attack them from the word go, and immediately we took the lead and scored the second, the game was over," said the Frenchman.

The coach also assured fans that captain Victor Wanyama will be fit to play this weekend after medical scan showed he only sustained a muscle strain.

Wanyama, who plays for Tottenham in English Premier League, was substituted after 75 minutes of play as a precaution.

"He sustained 'nothing serious' after his limping off. At the time it looked bad and we had to pull him out. It is not serious but with Kenya leading 3-0 Wanyama is a professional to understand he can come out instead of pushing himself too hard," said Migne.

The win leaves Kenya standing at the top of Group F with realistic chances of breaking the duck and qualifying for the 2019 Africa Nations Cup finals in Cameroon.

With seven points, a draw against Ghana in November will be enough to see Kenya top secure the ticket to Cameroon to end a 14-0 year wait to return to the AFCON finals.

Ethiopia are second in the group with four points while Ghana are third having not played this weekend after their match against Sierra Leone was cancelled by world governing body FIFA.

Confederation of African Football (CAF) says the decision on the fate of Sierra Leone who were suspended by FIFA has not been made.
